Music Director & Bassist — The Martin Boys
Dan Beattie is the Music Director and bassist for The Martin Boys, the fast-rising country duo currently crossing North America on tour in support of their debut album. Along the way the band has picked up national television attention and a fanbase that grows with every city.
Before The Martin Boys, Dan was the bassist for Eleven Past One, a Canadian pop-rock band whose single "The World Is Ours" charted nationally and earned them radio play across the country. That chapter included national tours and a deep education in what it takes to build a show from the ground up.
With over 20 years of experience, Dan brings a seasoned approach to every stage he plays. From arena-sized festival bills to intimate club rooms, the work is the same — hold down the pocket and make the band sound bigger than it is.
On tour, summer '26.
Ableton Live rigs, redundant playback, clicks and guides, AbleSet control. The invisible machinery that makes a modern show run tight, night after night.
Setlists, arrangements, transitions, and band leadership. Taking songs and turning them into moments.
Controller programming, patch changes, scene switching, hardware integration. One tap on stage and everything moves at once.
Stagecraft, pacing, and energy. The difference between playing your songs and commanding a room.
Co-writes, structures, hooks, and the edits that make a song land live as hard as it does in headphones.
Positioning, socials, and the business behind the music. The stage is half the job; being seen is the other half.
